The first Rhubarb Festival was a great success thanks to the volunteers, contestants, and those that came out to enjoy a day of family fun. $389.10 was raised. A special thank-you to Pat and Bob Schallhorn who organized this event, and the cooks: Debbie & Mike Fortney and Ralph Clark who served up great pancakes. Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped.

Hugh Robinson, Renee Gamble and Earl Barry got a lesson in judging food at the Rhubarb Festival. (and they thought they only had to eat!) It was a sight to see. Marjorie Woods had 3 rookies to contend with but patiently led them through the task at hand. They did a great job, thank you.
