The "King" & his.... "cohort"?

   

The 2012 Mardi Gras was a great success having sold out tickets and people on a waiting list.  Many people got into the spirit of things by dressing up in costume.  The new 2012 "king" was crowned which was our own local Bob Elliot.  As the evening progressed people attending had to stand and bow whenever the "king" stood. 
     M.C., Ken Lagerquist kept things rolling as usual. Thanks to all who helped decorate, prepare, serve, clean up and donate cakes.  A special thank-you to the musicians that donated their talents, and Bob & Pat Schallhorn who brought it all together.  A great time was had by all.
    Best costume for female went to Michelle Stokes.  Male winner was Bill Metzger. Best couple was Carol and Joe Mosburger.
   A special thank-you to  Chatty Hair Salon, The Community Club, Cathy Elliott, Duke Iron and Kettles Restaurant, that donated prizes.
    Fifty-fifty draw was won by Jan Becker.
